Responsibilities

  • Provide service to assigned clients on renewal and throughout the policy period, handle questions and general enquiries, recommend and provide increase limits on coverage.
  • Responsible for all incoming inquiries, and requested changes regarding assigned clients.
  • Responsible for the quality and timeliness of all policy documentation processing, new business, renewals endorsements cancellations etc.
  • Solicit new personal lines business from existing accounts and provide quotations where required.
  • Provide backup for other Personal Lines Account Managers as required
  • Follow all Underwriting guidelines from Insurance Companies and system procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

The Ideal Candidate will Possess

  • RIBO License eligible or active RIBO License
  • Proven time management and organizational skills
  • Great Attitude, professional, friendly and courteous
  • Excellent Customer Service skill, attention to detail and an ability to prioritize
  • Accuracy in record keeping
  • Team player adaptable to a changing environment
  • Comfortable using a variety of software platforms
  • Opportunity to work in office and remotely

Responsibilities

This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone starting out in Insurance. This position will provide someone with the opportunity to work with staff to process insurance policy changes, release new applications and renewals from Insurance Companies via multiple company portals. There will also be opportunities for this individual to assist in gathering detailed information from clients to process quotes for the brokers in the office.

Qualifications

The right individual must be a quick learner and possess tech savvy skills, as this position will be require the ability to work on multiple software platforms. The ability to multi-task is a must as well as being highly organized and have proven time management and organizational skills. A great attitude that provides professional friendly and courteous service is required along with a willingness to obtain a Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario License.
