Uniac Insurance is happy and honoured to donate $10 000 to this amazing project!

The West Perth Village Seniors’ Community will provide a place to live for our seniors that is close to home while providing quality care. What makes it even more special for us is a room in the West Perth Village will be named in honour of Jason Uniac’s mother Dorothy. Dorothy was a nurse at the Mitchell Medical Centre for many years providing care and support to so many in our community.

We are Hiring a Personal Lines Administrator/Support

This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone starting out in Insurance.  This position will provide someone with the opportunity to work with staff to process insurance policy changes and renewals to Insurance Companies. There will also be opportunities for this individual to assist in gathering detailed information from clients with regards to quotes.

Qualifications

The right individual must be a quick learner and possess tech savy skills as this position will require the ability to work on multiple software platforms.  The ability to multi-task between tasks is a must as well as being highly organized and have proven time management and organizational skills.  A great attitude that provides professional friendly and courteous service is required along with a willingness to obtain a Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario License.

WINTER TIRE DISCOUNT

If you have recently installed 4 winter tires onto your Automobile, give our office a call as you may be eligible for a Winter tire discount of up to 5% depending on the Company you are insured with.  If you are already receiving the winter tire discount please note that the required install date does vary from Company to Company but most are in and around November 1st and cannot be removed until the end of March each season.

Not only is the winter tire discount good motivation to install winter tires onto your vehicle but it also has other proven benefits.  Winter tires perform better in ice, snow and at a temperature below 7 degrees Celsius.  This creates a safer driving experience for everyone driving this winter.

COVID 19 UPDATE

As you may be aware our doors are opened back up to the general public, however things may look a bit different as we protect our staff and our clients.  Sneeze guards have been installed at our reception desk and hand sanitizer is available upon entry.  Masks will be required to be worn while you are visiting our office.

If you need to meet a broker in person we ask that you call ahead and set up an appointment.  Our staff continue to split their time between the office and working form home, however we can always be reached by phone or by email.

We are looking for someone to assist us with our Customer Service as a Personal Lines Account Manager this is a great opportunity to work with a community based, customer focused Brokerage with a longstanding Perth County base of clients.

  • Proven ability to grow a client book
  • Exceptional day to day customer service to existing clients
  • Detailed questioning and gathering of accurate quote information
  • Aptitude for using multiple software platforms
  • Great attitude, professional, friendly and courteous
  • Ability to multi-task between projects/task/deadlines
  • Ability to perform in a fast paced environment
  • Must be highly organized and self-motivated
  • Must enjoy quoting all Personal Lines on a regular basis and be comfortable with Applied Rating Systems and Company Portals

  • Prior insurance industry experience
  • Proven time management and organizational skills
